Leviton: Jewish Low-Cholesterol "The Jewish Low-Cholesterol Cookbook," by Roberta Leviton. Signet, New York, 1978. Overall, book is in good shape, showing some signs of wear on spine and pages are beginning to discolor. Good. $5.00.









Rombauer/Becker "The Joy of Cooking," by Irma S. Rombauer and Marion Rombauer Becker. The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc., Indianapolis, 1967. Hardcover. Covers show wear, scuffing, chipping, rubbing. Edges have some marks, dicolouration, shelfwear. A few pages have creasing. The rest of the book looks just fine. Good. $10.00.







Perry: kosher unlimitedBoth of these books were written by Ruth and Milton Perry, and were published by the National Women's League of the United Synagogue of America, New York. "Kosher Parties Unlimited - Glamour in the Kosher Kitchen," (1968) and "Kosher Cookery Unlimited - With Some Dishes Mother Never Knew," Plastic spiral bound (1971.) Both books have a couple of nicks, a couple of smudges, some wear near binding, but look very nice. Good. $12.00 each.

Montagné: Larousse gastronomique "Larousse Gastronomique," by Prosper Montagné. Crown Publishers, Inc., New York 1961. Has bookplate of former owner, but no name is written upon it (says "for a gift to Hadassah Ex Libris.) A few signs of wear, some yellowing on edges. Very good. $25.00.








Waldo: low-salt "The Low Salt, Low Cholesterol Cookbook," by Myra Waldo. G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1972, paperback. Some creasing and evidence of age on covers, some rubbbing on inside front cover. and spine. Good. $3.00.









Jester: microwave "Microwave Cookbook: The Complete Guide," by Pat Jester. HP Books, Tucson, 1986, paperback. Some staining and creasing on covers and a few pages as well. Good. $2.50.









Berg/Waldo: Molly Goldberg "The Molly Goldberg Jewish Cookbook," by Gertrude Berg and Molly Waldo. A Pyramid Book (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich), New York, 1976. Some nicks, some dents, but otherwise just fine. Good. $7.00.









Smith/Seaman: not chopped liver "Not Chopped Liver: The Kosher Way to Cook Gourmet," by Paula Smith and Dorothy Seaman. Jetsand Press, West Hartford, Connecticut, 1979, Some staining from newspaper articles. (And now without further delay, we'll tell you what they are: "Recipes by Ruth," from "The Jewish Standard," September 17, 1982; "Speaking of Food with Sue Perkins" from "The Bergen News," September 15, 1982.; and a recipe for brisket from "Redbook," February, 1982. A few bent pages and the spine is creased from standard usage. Good. $15.00.
